Welcome to the Ride the Sky Equine Photography Experience—where your horse gets the superstar treatment they deserve, and you get to bask in the glory of knowing that your walls are going to be the envy of all your equestrian friends (and, if we are being honest, even some non-equestrian ones…).
From planning to portraits to the final jaw-dropping artwork on your wall, every step is tailored to make your equestrian story unforgettable (and way more impressive than your neighbor’s family photos).
Step 1: Book It
Lock It In Before Your Horse Changes Their Mind
Booking starts with a $400 non-refundable retainer fee that’s less about commitment and more about investing in some serious bragging rights.
Oh, and that fee? $300 of it goes straight toward your artwork because I’m thoughtful like that.
Sessions fill up fast (because, duh, everyone wants this level of awesomeness), so don’t procrastinate unless you want to hear your horse’s disappointment in their whinnies.
Step 2: Creative Consult
The Part Where We Pretend to Be Organized
Before the camera even clicks, we’ll have a Creative Consult to make sure we’re on the same page—or at least the same chapter.
Think of it as the brainstorming meeting where we are the Co-CEOs. We’ll guide you through hashing out your vision, nail down all the details, go through all the questions, and explore your welcome kit so you know exactly what’s coming.
Spoiler: It’s going to be amazing, and your horse will probably be more photogenic than you (but that’s okay—we’ll make you look amazing too).
Step 3: Photograph It

This is the fun part: capturing your horse’s sass, grace, or chestnut mare face moments with zero judgment. My years of equine and equestrian photography mean I know how to handle the “diva horse” days and the “I’d rather be eating hay” moods.
It’s stress-free, laughter-filled, and dare I say, downright fun. You might even forget the camera is there (but don’t worry, I won’t let your horse steal the whole show…probably).
Step 4: Design Consult

After the session, we’ll meet for the pièce de résistance: the Design Consult. This is where you see your horse’s inner supermodel come to life, and we’ll design artwork that makes your walls the envy of horse lovers everywhere.
